Jaya Nets Achieves Carbon Neutrality in Manufacturing Process

Our commitment to environmental excellence reaches a new milestone as we achieve carbon-neutral manufacturing through solar power and innovative recycling programs.

We are proud to announce that Jaya Nets has achieved carbon neutrality across our entire manufacturing operations. This milestone represents over three years of dedicated effort to reduce our environmental footprint while maintaining the highest quality standards our customers expect.

Our Journey to Carbon Neutrality

The path to carbon neutrality required a comprehensive transformation of our operations. We installed a 2.5 MW solar panel array that now provides 85% of our facility's power needs. Our advanced water recycling system captures and reuses 70% of industrial water, significantly reducing both water consumption and energy required for treatment.

Innovative Plastic-to-Twine Program

One of our most innovative initiatives is our plastic-to-twine recycling program. We collect post-consumer HDPE plastics from fishing communities and convert them into high-quality rope and net materials. This circular economy approach has diverted over 500 tons of plastic waste from landfills and oceans in the past year alone.

Sustainability is not just about compliance—it's about creating value for our customers, communities, and the planet. Our carbon-neutral achievement proves that environmental responsibility and manufacturing excellence go hand in hand.

Impact on Product Performance

Our customers can now choose eco-certified rope and net products without compromising on strength, durability, or safety. Independent testing confirms that our recycled-content ropes meet or exceed the performance specifications of virgin-material equivalents, with tensile strengths up to 45,000 kg for our marine-grade HDPE mooring lines.
